- To cater the demand of student’s community and to meet the increasing demand of civil engineers Basavakalyan Engineering College has sought permission for starting civil engineering course for which AICTE has responded positively.
- The department was established in the year 2009 with an initial intake of 60 students and staffed by well qualified teaching faculty.
- The skills and efforts of the teaching faculty are availed by the institution and society for various construction and maintenance works.
